As a Caregiver, a strength you may reveal – is Compassion in the face of the unknown.
Do remember it is also important for you to use compassion for you and your needs as a Caregiver.
Compassion is often seen in the little concerns, the small considerations in reality
The Caregiver Strength of Compassion
Compassion is incredible because it will help you to continue, even when you are not getting, the answers you need, to move forward in any direction.
When you are caring and supporting a Loved One,
You can use compassion every day and often you shine it, automatically.
Like getting up in the middle of the night, when you have gotten no sleep at all.
Day after day, month after month, year after year, helping in every way possible.
Compassion is often shown in the face of fear
Put yourself in your Loved One’s position, how would you be feeling right now.
Caregiver Story of Compassion
I never felt so vulnerable as when my Loved One or I are needing a medical procedure or operation.
I have to give 100% trust in the medical staff.
I could see the questions and the fear in my Loved One’s eyes,
And you know it is to discover another piece of the puzzle, so It is important.
Thankfully, you often feel the compassion in the staff, tone of voice, attention and action.
Like they understand how you feel.
Or care about what you are experiencing.
Showing kindness in the little things, like a face wipe or a glass of water.
It’s often the look in the eyes or the understanding glance.
Remember you have the consideration, the concern, kindness to see this through!
