As a Caregiver, a strength you may reveal – is Protection in the face of the unknown.

The Caregiver Strength of Protection

Protection is incredible because it will help you to continue, even when you are not getting, the support you need, to move forward in any direction.

When you are caring and supporting a Loved One,

Protection is often used for caring only for your loved one

Do remember it is also important for you to use protection for you and your needs as a Caregiver.

Protection is often shown in the face of fear

Caregiver Story of Protection

My Love’s One had caught the train on a Thursday for the last 15 years to see a concert in the city hall, the last thing on my mind was needing protection.

I went to pick my Loved One up from the train station, he was no where to be seen?

Where could he be, he wasn’t on that train or the next train. Was he at another station. I called family, station masters, the city hall, hospitals, we couldn’t find him anywhere.

The city hall had advised there was a man who collapsed, who was taken to the hospital.

I then contacted the hospital again, yet, nobody had been admitted by that name.

I felt guilty, afraid; scared I wasn’t prepared for needing protection, now?

In a few hours I got a call from the hospital. My Loved One was never admitted, just in Emergency.

Remember you have shield, defense, guard to see this through!

Is Protection a strength of yours?- What else are your Strengths?

  1. Annie,
I cannot imagine the worries and guilt you went trough after not being able to find your loved one. It takes tremendous strength to be able to take the responsibility and be proactive in this case. Thank you.
